The reason I am really blogging is because Eva started her first little swim lessons. She is in the "Blowfish" class with 11 other 18-36 month olds and their parents. Matthew was totally game for taking her to her lessons, which is good for me because I am not very confident in my swimming skills not to mention I have a huge belly to work with. So, for the first 20 minutes of the 30 minute lesson she was strapped to Matthew neck with a choke hold. This is actually one of the reasons why we put her in the class to begin with. But, in the end she liked it and she talked about the bubbles she made in the water. I LOVED watching the two of them in the pool. It was super cute!

The other pictures are included to show you the fun things Eva does. I thought her and River looked cute together and wondered if they look kind of alike. You know how they say people start looking like their dogs. Good thing River is quite the beautiful dog. And the others are of Eva using my blush brush to apply makeup just the way her mama does it :)

And finally, I thought I would let everyone know that Matthew has an interview on the 9th of February for medical school. We are sooo hoping he is going to get in but would love all your thoughts and prayers as this day seems to be quickly approaching. We would love to spend some time in Arizona if this all works out. Thanks for thinking of us by reading my random ramblings.

I feel very late on these pictures but, after a good friend of mine said she was wondering where my Christmas post was I figured I had to do this. The first picture is Eva's "frowny face." She has really taken a liking to the nursery song and we often sing the song to make the frowny face go away. The second is of Christmas day in her princess outfit. A total girl! She was very excited to get her dress on and be like Princess Fiona. She also go Elmo Live from her uncle Ricky. That thing is sooo loud. I have been tempted several times to leave it with Ricky, but I think that would make Eva sad. However, I think she gets annoyed with it too because she likes to purposefully knock him down and when he asks, "Can you help Elmo up, please?" she ignores him for the full three times that he asks and lets him take his "nap." The other fun thing that happened to me this Christmas was that Matthew bought me a nice flash to go with my camera. I have been excited to take pictures now because I live in a poorly lit, dark home. I feel like I own a new camera.

And, in other news, we had our ultra sound today. I am twenty weeks but the technician thought the baby was looking bigger than that. Maybe, tommorrow at my doctor's appointment, he will confirm my due date for me. But, the baby looks great! It is nice and active. In fact in one shot we could see it jumping in my belly. Soo...if you are dying to know, this time around we are looking for BOY names. That's right, we saw a little penis. Which to me, didn't seem too little. I will have to get used to that. But, Matthew is proud to say, "that's my boy!" in reference to his "junk."
